These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of plately.net and the Plately app (the "Service"), operated by Plately Inc ("Plately," "we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Plately uses artificial intelligence to analyze photos of meals and provide estimated nutritional information, tracking, and general suggestions. Estimates are approximations and may not be exact.
The Service provides general nutrition information for everyday awareness only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical or clinical dietary needs. Do not rely on the Service to manage a medical condition, including allergies — always verify ingredients yourself.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to reverse-engineer our models, scraping the Service, uploading unlawful content, interfering with other users, or using the Service to build a competing product.
Free and paid plans are described on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Where required by law, refunds are provided accordingly; otherwise fees are non-refundable.
You retain ownership of the photos and data you submit. You grant Plately a limited license to process them to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service, including our software, models, design, and branding, belongs to Plately Inc and its licensors. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or technology beyond normal use of the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of nutritional estimates, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plately Inc will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any amount exceeding the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You may stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email before taking effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
